The other night at one of my favorite neighborhood restaurants, I noticed that they had changed their wall treatment. I don’t remember what used to be on the walls, i think a giant collage or something, but i’m in love with this new look. When you first walk in, it almost looks like woven leather and then when you get close you see that it’s cardboard boxes! ok, so my photo doesn’t do it justice. I need to remember to bring my camera with me and not rely on my cell phone. but still, I think it’s beautiful. It made me think about what i could do like it around my house. What do you think? Beautiful or should have stayed in the recycling bin?

Top Chef goes Green!

One of the best shows on TV (in my humble opinion) is Top Chef. Love Padma, love Tom, and love reality shows that actually focus on people with talent. So I was extra in love with the show this season when I saw that they now use reusable bags on their weekly shopping trips to Whole Foods! I don’t know why it took 5 seasons, but better late than never. Kudos to Top Chef! (now if only their PSA about going green was a little better…)
